Deposit Information Effective January 2, 2025

(Deposit Fee $312 + Membership Fee $25 + Install/Application Fee $50)
- Applicants can provide a letter of good credit for the previous 12 months from a former utility in lieu of a cash deposit.
- Proof of ownership and/or lease agreements required for new connects.
- Camps will require a prepayment of 12 months of the service availability, membership, and installation fee. The total camp fee amount is $375. No deposits are required for camps.
- All services determined by C&L Electric Cooperatives to fall in the category of temporary or low usage service (such as campers and tiny homes) must complete the following prior to construction of facilities:
Payment of 100% of the calculated direct cost will be required to construct the extension of facilities. This amount is a non-refundable contribution to Aid of Construction. It is also necessary for a member to provide a meter loop that meets C&L Electric Meter on Pole specifications. - All required documentation and payments must be received by C&L Electric prior to services being connected.
- A customer service representative from C&L Electric will contact you to complete the application process, including gathering a copy of identification (Driver’s License, State ID Card, Passport, Military ID, or I-551 immigrant visa is acceptable).
